Honda will supply Yamaha a Electric Motorcycle Platform

It is clear that Japanese Companies have introduced electirc vehicles, but electric two wheelers don't have powerfull electric bikes. Now Honda has started that work and is able to its powerfull electric bike platform to Yamaha.


According to a report Honda as an OEM is willing to supply its Electric bike platform to Another big Japanese Auto Giant Yamaha. It includes two platforms named as EM1 e: and Benly e: l, they're called Class 1 electric bikes. In the current time Japanese two wheelers (Commercially available ) are being alternative to 50cc petrol mopeds, but not to the likes of 150cc, 200cc and 300-400cc and above.

Honda's EM1 e: platform was launched in may month last year, it has range of 30 miles per charge and generates 2.2 brake horse power. The Benly e: l was launched in the year 2019, and has a bit better performance, Longer range and less charging time.

 It has the peak power of  3.6 brake horse power, 55 miles of range per charge and is able to charge battery to 100% in four hours. Back in the year 2017 the four big giants of Japanese industry including Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki established a swappable battery consortium for electric bikes to take Japanese two wheeler electric vehicle sector to new heights.
