Saiyed Badiuddin Zinda Shah Madar is a sufi saint whose shrine is located in Makanpur Uttar Pradesh india.He's a syed from the Jaferia branch of syeds that is why the syeds from this lineage are also known as Jaferi Syeds. Madare pak is 10th decendent of Imam Husain Bin Ali (A.S.) and from mother side 9th decsendent of Imam Hasan Bin Ali (A.S.)
There are many famous people who follow madariya order of sufism including Shajar Ali Madari a research scholar & Naat Khwan, and Shanavar Ali Madari who is a islamic devotinonal poet. Madare Pak's Urs Mubarak or annual death ceremony takes place on 17th date of jamadi al thaani or jamadi al aakhir according to islamic calendar. Today on 19th october is his urs which is celebrated in makanpur where his shirne located as well as other areas of indian sub continent where his followers and ahle tariqat muslims and non muslims are located.
The followers and lovers of Madare Pak are chant the slogan of "Dam Madar Beda Par" which means "Take the name of Madar in everytime (everybreath) then your ship will be sink to the shore". The shirne of Badiuddin Zinda Shah Madar is a symbol of unity between Religions because people of all religions go there to get their issues solved Spiritually. The Sufi saints of Madariya Order are called "Madari Malang" who have long hairs wrapped in Imam or Turban.
