Maruti E Vitara is ready to be launched in Bharat Mobility Expo. Currently in indian market Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is sold in Petrol, CNG and Hybrid variants. The current selling Hybrid variant of the car is a front wheel drive car which includes a 1.5 liter petrol engine along with an Electric motor and battery pack. But soon will have a full fledged electric version.
Suzuki E Vitara Battery and Power Figures
According to a report the upcoming Suzuki E Vitara or Maruti Suzuki E Vitara will be equipped with three different Motor versions as well as power figures. The first of them will be 49kilowatt battery battery along with a single unknown electric motor. This variant will be front wheel drive which may produce 142 brake horse power and 189 newton meters of torque.
The second of them will be 61 kilowatt battery paired with a single unknown (For now) motor which again may be a front wheel drive. This electric variant of Maruti Grand Vitara (as known in india) will produce 172 brake horse Power and 189 newton metres of torque. The third and the top variant of the Maruti Suzuki E Vitara will have the same 61 kilowatt battery pack along with two electric motors which may be a "all wheel drive" (AWD) SUV car. It will generate 184 brake horse power and 300 newton meteres of torque.
Every Pro comes with a con, this applies on the top varainat of Suzuki E Vitara because it has more power compared to the base and second top varaints, but at the same time as being powered by two motors with the same battery pack as second top varaint may affect the drive range of the car. Our personal advice to the brand suzuki is that just like the dual motors they should also provide a dual battery pack variant to avoid drive range issue caused by dual motor performance. But nothing is official until the official announcement by Company, let's see what happens next.
